Hi there, according to my Deviantart stats I have 579 watchers. So if you're all active watchers there should be 579 of you reading this. I hope so because I don't want to repeat this, because I'm sure some of you are just as annoyed by this as me.

Almost every day for the past few days like clock work I have gotten one of these:

If someone by the name of Alfred Hundana (dragon_heart620) wants to add you to their buddy list, don't accept it. It's a virus. Please tell everyone on your lists, because if someone on your list addes them, you may get the virus too. This virus is a hard-drive killer. We need to find out who is using this account.

(To send to everyone on your list, just click the drop-down menu in the Recipient field and click 'Unsorted' or whatever the group name for you buddy list is.

This "virus" IS NOT REAL and it never was. The guy who started sending this note was permanently banned from Deviantart. It is spam, you are creating spam.

I suppose though that some of the people who sent this may not have known that, and that is fine, now you know.

And I suppose that some of the people who sent it may have done so because "better safe than sorry", if that was you let me explain something; the note tells you 'If someone by the name of Alfred Hundana (dragon_heart620) wants to add you to their buddy list, don't accept it.' this is impossible to do. Here on DA when someone decides to watch you, you have no say in it. They click watch and they are then watching you, the person being watched cannot refuse the other person, so if an "Alfred Hundana" wanted to watch you, you couldn't tell him no.

So you see, there isn't any virus, there never was, please stop sending it. I hate to say this but if I keep getting these notes I am going to start reporting them, DA has been susspending or even banning the people who keep forwarding these things, and I don't want anyone to lose their page so please don't send any more.

So once more the virus IS. NOT. REAL. Please DO NOT keep sending them to me or to anyone else.
