Divinities - Exsistance by Chaos--Child Divinities - Exsistance by Chaos--Child
In all honesty I don't think I'll ever be able to convey these two in a way that is beautiful enough... Because both of them are beautiful, God in the way that the instant something is created is beautiful, and Satan in the way that the instant something is destroyed is beautiful.

Now I know there are a bunch of questions you guys have so I'll try to explain them correctly. First I bet you want to ask why is God's blood purple? And why is Satan's blood gold?
God's blood is purple because purple is the color of royalty and since she's GOD I think she more than deserves that color, it is also a calm and soft color. As for Satan same rule applies being a deity and the opposite of God he is entitled to the same thing, gold is another color associated with royalty, and it is also a bright burning color.

Second question, so why is God pregnant? And just what exactly is that in there?
That's easy, it's the universe. (at least it's a universe, who knows how many there actually are.) As for her being pregnant she's the mother of creation so why not? I suppose it's more symbolic than anything.

So now you may wonder does that make Satan the "father"? I suppose so seeing as how I'm sure he had a helping hand in it. After all you need two somethings to make more somethings, and you can't have life with out death, creation with out destruction.

Why have they cut each other then? Because even though they need each other (I like to think that they honestly love each other too) they don't get along, and any time spent together probably ends in the two of them fighting.

This picture is beautiful and fascinating. As some who studies matriarchal religions, the idea of the God/ess giving "birth" to creation is nearly universal in terms of Mother Goddess's. The amount of thought and effort you put into the symbolism is impressive and well-done.

Nice artwork. I saw in one of your comments, you said these really represent opposite forms of the universe rather than religion. I think that's neat, and I feel like I understand it better.

Thank you :D yup you're exactly right. I refer to them as God and Satan simply because I don't really have any other names for them.

:shrugs: I've never felt the need to add him, or any other major religious figure. This is just my personification of the opposing forces of the universe, I may call them "God" and "Satan" but they aren't the ones from the bible, or any other religion that contains them. Sorry if it confused you ^^;

Hmmm...Now that I looked at these two again...They look so childish in chibi form...And when you drew them like this, so mature. :XD:
BTW and just want to share: I'm experimenting with a eye correction glasses-thing...The lens are solid black plastic with many little holes to refract the light to my eyes. A lil' hard to see but maybe that shows how bad my sight is. 8D

Yes they do :D I can't imagine God or Satan having any real age so I like changing around the age they "look".

Huh, that's interesting, did the eye doctor give you that? It sounds like it would make things hard to see, or at least look really dark.

Nope. Mom just bought it out of the blue. 8D Um...It's like you're looking through blurry black tinted window glass for my case. :XD: If I just read a book in a proper sitting position, I can sort of see okay. :/
